Privacy policy

Seaside Sourdough ("we", "us") is a small cottage food micro bakery in Jupiter, Florida. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website and how we use it.

What we collect

When you order, create an account, leave a review or sign up for texts, we collect what you give us: your name, email, phone number, delivery address if you choose delivery, your order, notes, review text and any photos you upload. If you apply for the first responder discount we collect your agency and role and any proof you choose to upload; we delete proof photos once we've reviewed them.

If you choose a password, we only keep a one way scrambled (hashed) version of it. Nobody at Seaside Sourdough can see it; if you forget it, use "Forgot your password?" to set a new one.

We also keep basic technical information to run the site and prevent abuse of discounts and referral codes, such as a cookie that identifies your browser and a one way scrambled version of your IP address.

How we use it

To make and deliver your order, send receipts and order updates, run your account and referral rewards, show approved reviews (with your first name and last initial only), answer your messages and keep our books. We never sell your information.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe through our secure checkout. We never see or store your full card number. Zelle and Venmo payments are handled by those services.

Text messages

If you opt in, we text you about your order and, only if you separately agree, about new drops and specials. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the text message provider that delivers our messages. See our text message terms.

Who helps us

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. Email is sent through our email provider, text messages through Telnyx, and our back office and payments run through Sea Grape Labs and Stripe. They only use your information to provide those services to us.

Your choices

You can update your details in My account, opt out of texts by replying STOP, and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected] or calling 561-614-9278. We keep order and payment records as long as the law requires for bookkeeping.
